As residents of Whistler, the Baxter Creek development team share a passion for the area, applying their practical knowledge and principles of careful planning and environmental preservation to all their developments. The team has designed and built numerous luxury homes in Whistler, Squamish and West Vancouver along key infrastructure projects in the Whistler area and several subdivisions in the Vancouver Lower Mainland. Currently the largest multi-family developer in the Sea to Sky Corridor, they share a vision of quality master planning and design with the common goal of connecting people with nature.
Red Sky at Baxter Creek is a collaboration of the Baxter Creek development team and a|k|a architecture + design inc. Founded in 2002 by Andreas Kaminski in Whistler, BC, a|k|a is a design-based practice with experience in a range of building scales and typologies. Through their collective work experience in Vancouver, Toronto, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles, a|k|a have developed design sensibilities that make their work progressive, responsive and relevant. a|k|a has a proven record of delivering projects and services in a professional, timely, and efficient manner. Their firm is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited and a member of the Canada Green Building Council. They are considered experts in “Green” and sustainable design and construction.
